Eilat Airport shut down due to flooding

The Eilat Airport has been shut down due to flooding caused by the stormy weather. The Israeli Airport Authority said it is working towards cleaning up the lanes.

Two Israir flights that were on their way to the southern city from Tel Aviv's Sde Dov Airport had to double back, while an Arkia flight was redirected to Ovda. Earlier, the northern entrance to Eilat was closed due to the flooding, but was later reopened. (Shahar Chai)
