Syria: At least 125 hurt in blasts at Alawite village

A series of blasts at an Alawite village in central Syria has caused at least 125 casualties, the Syrian Observatory of Human Rights reported.

"It is not immediately clear whether the rebels are behind these attacks, but if that is the case, it would be the largest reprisal operation mounted by insurgents" against Alawite civilians, said Rami Abdel Rahman, who heads the Observatory. (AFP)
