Meretz: If Lieberman doesn't resign, we will petition

In response to Lieberman's case, Meretz Chairwoman Zahava Gal-On said: "The High Court of Justice determined that a governmental minister should act with integrity and morality, but Lieberman demonstrated corruption and breach of public trust. If the minister does not notify of his immediate resignation, I will petition to the High Court of Justice and will force him to."

According to Gal-On, "his recent attacks of the European community, aimed to divert public attention from the indictment against him, prove that every day he is still in office causes more irreversible damage to the State of Israel." (Roi Mandel)
