Nuland on J'lem construction: US opposes unilateral action
State Department spokeswoman Victoria Nuland responded to the Israeli decision to build 1,500 housing units in the Ramat Shlomo neighborhood in Jerusalem, saying that the administration's position regarding settlement building has not changed.

Nuland reiterated the US's opposition to unilateral actions by either Israel or Palestine, noting that once a final agreement is in place the settlement issue will be put to rest. (Yitzhak Benhorin, Washington)
