Hatnua calls for attorney general's aid over media crisis
The Hatnua party led by Tzipi Livni appealed to the attorney general, state comptroller and the president of Israel's Press Council to urgently intervene in what they called "a threat to democracy and freedom of the press."

The appeal followed the uncertainty over Channel 10 concession extension and Channel 2 announcing a cut-down of several shows. The party members claimed the government was laying obstacles in solving the channels' problems and that "these incidents are seven times more serious during the election campaign." (Moran Azulay)
