Yeshiva students allowed civilian medical exams ahead of IDF draft
Brigadier-General Gadi Agmon, head of planning in the IDF's Personnel Directorate, and Yakov Litzman of the United Torah Judaism have reached an agreement according to which the IDF will accept the results of Yeshiva students' checkups conducted by civilian doctors.

The decision was made after haredi rabbis forbade their students from showing up at IDF medical exams, which might be conducted by women. (Kobi Nahshoni)
