A taxi driver was assaulted by three Arab
youths in central Tel Aviv on Sunday night, Yedioth Ahronoth reported.
The driver, a 70-year-old resident of Kfar Saba, was on his way to collect a passenger from the Tel Aviv railway station when three Arab youths entered his taxi. The three hit the driver in his face and put him in the backseat of the car.

One of the assailants replaced the driver behind the wheel and started driving towards Halamish, where they left the driver on the side of the road and continued driving.
Suffering from contusions to his face, the man was taken to the Rabin Medical Center in Petah Tikva.
Upon his report, police launched an investigation which suggests that the assailants took the car to the territories.
The circumstances behind the incident remain unclear. The taxi driver told the police he is not acquainted with the suspects and does not know what they wanted from him. The three had not taken any of his possessions apart from the cab.
