Netanya man arrested after threatening Netanyahu for 'betraying Zionism'
A 55-year-old resident of Netanya was arrested for allegedly threatening Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. An initial investigation revealed that the man sent a fax to the Justice Department's ombudsman, claiming that Netanyahu "has betrayed Zionism" and that "a traitor's sentence is to face a firing squad, and I will make sure to legislate a special law (mandating this) just for him."

The man's neighbor claims the man said that Netanyahu is harming the city by making sure it remains a crime infested city. The man is considered a threat and is currently undergoing a psychological evaluation under arrest. (Raanan Ben-Zur)
