Police on Tuesday arrested a foreign worker on suspicion she abused an elderly woman from Rishon Lezion.
The abuse was exposed on a hidden camera installed by the 96-year-old victim's grandson.
The suspect has been caring for the elderly woman for the past four years.

The victim's family recently noticed something unusual about her behavior, finding her flinching at the sight of other people.
This led the woman's grandson to install a hidden camera in her house.
Footage from the camera soon confirmed the family's suspicion that she was being abused and showed the caretaker shaking the woman, throwing a blanket over her and even hitting her.
The family took the footage to the police who proceeded to arrest the suspect. The caretaker admitted to the allegations.
An indictment will be filed against her with the Rishon Lezion Magistrate's Court on Wednesday.
Police noted that the suspect expressed remorse.
