Yachimovich after Netanyahu meeting: Gaps unfathomable, will sit in opposition

Following an hour-long meeting with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Labor Party Chairwoman Shelly Yachimovich said that "the gaps in our world-views on anything related to Israel's society and economy are unfathomable and the same is true regarding the peace process' renewal."

Yachimovich added: "Facing these harsh differences, the Labor Party will serve the people from the opposition, as was previously decided." The meeting was scheduled by Netanyahu in hopes of adding the Labor Party to the future coalition. (Moran Azulay and Attila Somfalvi)
