70 fans removed during Beitar-Sakhnin match

Seventy fans were removed from the "Teddy" soccer stadium in Jerusalem during a match between Beitar Jerusalem and Bnei Sakhnin. The 35 Beitar fans were removed for cursing and deriding their own team's managers, and Sakhnin's fans were removed for endangering public safety and disorderly conduct. Some 9,000 fans attended the match.

Earlier in the day Police Commissioner Yohanan Danino said: "Our goal is to make sure everyone returns home safe after the match is over. The phenomena we've run into, violence and racist chants in the stadium and out of it, such as the arson incident – we will not allow these to continue." (Noam Dvir)
