Palestinian's UN Rep: Israel failed to treat security prisoner's cancer
The Permanent Observer of Palestine to the United Nations, Riyad Mansour sent three letters, identical in content, to the UN's Secretary General, the Chairperson of the UN's General Assembly and the head of the UN's Security Council regarding the death of Palestinian security prisoner Maisara Abu Hamdiyeh.

In his letter, Mansour wrote that Abu Hamdiyeh suffered from cancer for some months, and that Israel failed to grant him adequate treatment, causing the cancer to spread throughout his body. He also claimed Israel refused to allow family members to visit him in jail. (Roi Kais)
