10 suspects in animal heads protest detained
Police detained 10 animal rights activists on suspicion they placed severed animal heads at various Tel Aviv locations in March. Searches of the activists' homes revealed items connecting them to the acts, police said.

The protest which saw the bloodied heads of pigs, sheep and cows put on display was aimed at the meat industry. Police said the suspects were released to house arrest and will be indicted in an expedited procedure. (Eli Senyor)
