Lebanese officials said they found the pads from which rockets were fired at two Shiite suburbs Beirut. They cited the location of the platform as the villages of Aitat and Besaba, south east of the spot where the rockets landed.
In addition, the Lebanese security forces found a third launching pad from which no rockets were fired. Lebanese Interior Minister Marwan Charbel, who described the shooting as an act of sabotage, said it was in an uninhabited area in the woods. (Elior Levi)
