Iran condemns US, French criticism of its presidential elections

Iran condemned the United States and France, which claimed the Iranian elections are not transparent after two leading candidates were disqualified. Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi said: "Iran doesn't support meddling in its internal affairs."

The Western countries protested the disqualification of Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani and Aspandiar Rahim Mashaei. The presidential elections will be held on June 14. (AFP)
