Inquiry into injury of American wounded in Naalin protest to reopen

The High Court has instructed the State to reopen the inquiry into the circumstances surrounding the injury of Tristan Anderson who was seriously wounded after being hit in the head with a tear gas grenade in March 2009 while participating in a protest in the Palestinian town of Naalin.

The decision was taken in response to a petition filed by Anderson's parents and the Yesh Din organization which claimed that the original inquiry was conducted in an negligent manner. (Aviel Mengazi)
