EU ambassador: Hezbollah blacklisting doesn't justify attack on Lebanon

The EU's ambassador to Lebanon, Angelina Eichhorst, met in Beirut with Ammar al-Musawi, responsible for Hezbollah's international relations. After the meeting Eichhorst said that the EU's decision to list the group's military arm as a terror group does not justify any

action or attack by any country, including Israel, against Lebanon. On Wednesday Hezbollah Leader Hassan Nasrallah said that the EU's decision may become an excuse for future Israeli attacks against Lebanon.

Eichhorst added that the reason for the blacklisting was the attack in Burgas, Bulgaria. Al-Musawi said after the meeting that the blacklisting will not change the group's policy, but that there will be repercussions. (Roi Kais)
