Teva, Economy Ministry to establish team to examine layoffs
Teva Pharmaceuticals announced that it will form a joint team with the Economy Ministry "to examine the manner in which efficiency measures are implemented, while maintaining most of the personnel in Israel."

In the company's statement it was noted that Economy Minsiter Naftali Bennett requested to act in any way to reduce the number of layoffs in the company in Israel. Teva President and CEO Jeremy Levin addressed the planned firing on Tuesday and said: "We promised Teva efficiency and we will do so, but gently and with cooperation with the Histadrut." (Ynet)
