Amazon sells books denying Holocaust
Online retailer offering publications with titles such as 'Did Six Million Really Die?' despite being sued for similar circumstances in 2009
Online retailer Amazon
has been found selling hate literature again, Kernel Magazine reports, stocking virtual shelves with books with such intriguing titles as "Did Six Million Really Die?" and "Conspiracy of the Six-Pointed Star."
Unfortunately, this is not the first time that the giant online retailer has been caught profiting off hate literature and genocide denial: In 2009, the American Jewish Committee sued Amazon’s German branch for stocking more than 50 titles that fall within the category of Holocaust denial.

In Germany, and at Amazon Europe’s home base Lichtenstein, genocide denial is strictly forbidden and is a criminal offence. But the 2009 decision to take these books off their shelves hasn’t seemed to stick, as many of those titles, and even some new volumes, are back on the shelves and ready to be distributed to burgeoning neo-Nazis, for free shipping on orders over €20 ($27).
Amazon has managed to dodge some national content restrictions throughout Europe by limiting content available in certain countries but through offering transnational shipping. This way, neo-Nazis can order the books off England’s website, for example, and have them shipped to Germany.
Amazon has yet to comment on the scandal.
