High Court rejects petition against prisoner release

The High Court of Justice rejected the appeal by the Almagor Terror Victims Association, against the release of 26 Palestinians within the framework of diplomatic negotiations. Several dozen families effected by the terror attacks appealed to the High Court by way of the group, with the demand that they not release the prisoners because, "the release of murderers with blood ontheir hands, even when within the needs of the state, is touched by immorality and gives a fatal blow to the existence of a society founded upon the values of ethics and law."
