NIS 70 million loan for Military Industries approved
The Knesset's Finance Committee approved a loan of NIS 70 million ($19.8 million) to the Israeli Military Industries, to provide October salaries to workers.

The committee stated this is the last loan, and the approval was given under the undertaking of Prime Minister's Office Director-General Harel Locker to decide within two weeks on the matter of privatizating the company. The committee refused to approve the full loan of NIS 170 million ($48 million) that was requested, and only approved the sum allotted to payment of wages. (Ynet)
