Britain condemns Bat Yam bus bomb

British Foreign Secretary William Hague on Monday condemned the attempted bus bombing in Bat Yam the day before, in which a disaster was averted by a quick-thinking bus driver who evacuated his vehicle of passengers after an explosive device was discovered on board.

"I am appalled by the attempted terrorist attack on a bus south of Tel Aviv yesterday," said Hague in a statement.

"My thoughts are with everyone affected. The UK unreservedly condemns this attack and all acts of violence. We stand firmly with the Israeli people against terror."  (Ynet)
