Israeli ambassador to UN chairs Human Rights Council election
Israeli Ambassador to the UN Ron Prosor supervised the Tuesday election of representatives to the international organization's Human Rights Council. Prosor was chosen unanimously by 170 members to preside over the special election session of the General Assembly.


Prosor is the first Israeli appointed to supervise a UN election. He said: "This is a great honor for me to conduct the election process for the UN's Human Rights Council." (Yitzhak Benhorin – WASHINGTON)
