Some 1,500 protest for the release of Israeli-Arab prisoners
Some 1,500 people held a demonstration in ten junctions in Arab towns Saturday demanding to release the fourth and final batch of Palestinian security prisoners in March as planned.

This particular group of prisoners, due to be released as a part of a trust-building step to restart the Israeli-Palestinian peace process, has been the caused of more controversy than the others because they are Israeli-Arabs.

Protests were held in Tira, Sakhnin, Kafr Kanna and Umm al-Fahm, among other places. (Hassan Shaalan)
