Olmert's former assistant Shula Zaken sentenced to 11 months of jail

Shula Zaken, former aide to Ehud Olmert, received 11 months in prison at the end of her sentencing hearing in Tel Aviv on Thursday morning.

Zaken was convicted of being an accomplice in the 'Holyland' affair in which she and Olmert accepted bribes to overlook building codes for Jerusalem Hotel sponsers.

Olmert was sentenced Tuesday to six years in prison. Zaken provided evidence against Olmert in return for the prosecution asking for the relitively light sentence of 11 months.
