Fire breaks out in Galilee region; firefighters in action report no threat to nearby villages
Six teams of firefighters and four fire retardant aircraft were sent Saturday afternoon to Hof HaUn, beach area of the Lake of Galilee to combat a fire that closed Highway 92 and cut many vacations short as beaches were evacuated.

No injuries were reported but a spokesman for the firefighters of the Galilee and Golan regions said, "The fire is spreading from Hof HaUn in the direction of the southern Golan Heights. There are lots of reeds, bushes and dry weeds that are burning. At the moment there is no threat to any villages."
