Egypt: 6 who planned attack on al-Sisi's convoy arrested
Egyptian security forces arrested six terrorists who were plotting to target newly elected president Abdel Fattah al-Sisi's convoy following his inauguration on Sunday, Egyptian newspaper Al-Watan reported on Friday.

An initial investigation found the six were a part of a 15-member terror cell that is affiliated with Ansar Bait al-Maqdis, a Salafist organization, and that they planned on targeting al-Sisi's convoy using car bombs, explosive devices, or a suicide bombing. (Roi Kais)
