Gov't to approve NIS 55 million budget for new settlement for Amona evacuees
The government is expected to approve on Sunday a budget of NIS 55 million for the construction of a new settlement for the evacuated residents of the illegal outpost Amona.
The money will be transferred to the Interior Ministry, which will in turn allocate it to the Binyamin Regional Council, where the new settlement Amichai will be built.
An additional NIS 5 million will be transferred to the Binyamin Regional Council to pay for housing the evacuated Amona residents since the evacuation.
