Israel Atomic Energy Commission head warns of Iran's nuclear threat
Speaking at the 59th General Conference of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Ze'ev Snir, head of the Israel Atomic Energy Commission, said that "Iran continues to develop, test and launch ballistic missiles in complete contravention of UN Security Council resolutions and supports terrorist organizations throughout the Middle East."
Snir added that "the international community should maintain pressure on Iran until the IAEA reports without question the absence of undeclared nuclear material and activities," as "an Iran within reach of nuclear weapons is not an option that Israel, the region or the world can tolerate."
