PA President: If the two-state solution is destroyed, we will have to continue the struggle and take steps

In his speech at the UN General Assembly, Palwestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas stressed that the Palestinians continue to support the two-state solution, but that if the solution is put at risk, they will have to "take steps or examine alternatives in order to preserve our national existence."

"If the two-state solution is destroyed, we will have no choice but to continue our struggle and demand full rights for all the inhabitants of Palestine," Abbas said.
