Report: 6 Egyptian soldiers killed in Sinai during attack on military outpost
The Qatari Al-Jazeera network and the Qatari-affiliated Al-Araby Al-Jadeed newspaper reported six Egyptian soldiers were killed Thursday night when combatants attacked an army outpost south of El-Arish in the Sinai Peninsula. Four soldiers were wounded.
Three of the attackers were killed and one was wounded.
Security sources told Egyptian news site Al-Bawaba the combatants opened fire on the outpost.
