Israeli poker player allegedly withholds hundreds of thousands of shekels in income

The Israel Tax Authority investigated an Israeli poker player suspected of not reporting income from competitions he participated in around the world.

 

The 24 year old player allegedly made to close NIS 700,000 in prize money and an additional NIS 850,000 for creating a card-game infrastructure for other players.

 

The player was arrested and then released on bail.
