Judge slams plaintiffs in suit against Sara Netanyahu for sensationalism

The Jerusalem Labor Court on Wednesday harshly criticized the wording of the lawsuit filed by Shira Raban, a former employee at the Prime Minister's Residence, against the wife of Prime Minister Sara Netanyahu.

"When I read the indictment, the impression is that it is for someone else to hear and not for this procedure," the president of the court, Ilan Avrahami, said at the hearing.

Avrahami then criticized the prosecution's decision to not mention the plaintiff's name in the suit and refer to the employees in the suit as slaves, because—as they put it—they were treated as such.

"These descriptors do not belong in a legal process and I will not allow it," Avrahami said.
