Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu condemned on Monday afternoon the incitement against President Reuven Rivlin but added that "not all criticism is incitement."
"In a democracy, anyone can be criticized," he said at a Likud Party meeting. "The only request is for this criticism to be relevant and respectful: No kaffiyahs, no hanging ropes and no Nazi uniforms."
The prime minister noted he called for full pardon for Elor Azaria from day one.
