SA on recommendations bill: 'Vital to listen to police recommendations'
State Attorney Shay Nitzan spoke during a debate in the Knesset's Internal Affairs Committee on the bill barring police from making recommendations on indictment at the conclusion of investigations, saying, "I think it's vital for me to listen to police recommendations."
MK David Amsalem, who initiated the debate, said, "Police said it's not recommending but it writes of 'sufficient evidence.' That's one and the same to me."
