5 Ghajar residents convicted of security offenses

The Nazareth District Court convicted five residents of the village of Ghajar near Israel's border with Lebanon for committing security offenses.

The father of one of the men convicted is said to have collaborated with Hezbollah terrorists to throw an explosive device for the purposes of committing a terror attack, a device later caught and hidden by his son, who was convicted in Israel.

The remaining defendants were convicted of assisting him, as well as drug-related offenses.
