Erdogan: 'Trump has a Zionist mentality'
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan accused his US counterpart Donald Trump of having a "Zionist mentality" after recognizing Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.
"The real owner of this land is Palestine, and Mr. Trump wants it all to be Israel, the product of evangelism and a Zionist mentality," Mr. Erdogan said. From a summit of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) in Istanbul.
"The fate of Jerusalem can not be left in the hands of a country that is drinking blood, expanding its borders by savagely killing children, civilians and women," he added.
