Brig.-Gen. Kamil Abu Rokon to replace Yoav Mordechai as COGAT
Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman has decided to appoint Brig.-Gen. Kamil Abu Rokon as Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories to replace Maj.-Gen. Yoav Mordechai.
Abu Rokon, a resident of Isfiya, heads the Defense Ministry's land passages authority and will be appointed following Israel's Independence Day. He will be promoted to major-general.
After finishing his COGAT term, Mordechai will conclude 36 years of service in the security establishment.
