Herzog: 'Saudi Arabia needs to play a central role on Jerusalem issue'
Chairman of the Opposition MK Isaac Herzog said he believes that Saudi Arabia needs to play a central role regarding the issue of Jerusalem, considering it is the land containing the two holiest sites in Islam. He made his comments during an interview on Tuesday by the Saudi news site "Elaph."
Herzog also said that Jerusalem is united and not divided but its exact borders can be discussed in a final settlement agreement. Regarding regional leaders, Herzog said he admires many of the steps taken by Saudi Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman and he believes that he is one of the great revolutionaries of the Mideast.
