Haredim demand Netanyahu rebuke Lieberman over Shabbat visit to shopping center
Leaders of the United Torah Judaism party demanded Sunday morning that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu reprimand Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman over his visit to a shopping center in the southern city of Ashdod on Saturday morning and the things he said about the ultra-Orthodox public.
According to a joint statement issued by the party's different factions, which was published in its three mouthpieces, "The United Torah Judaism faction calls on Prime Minister Netanyahu to immediately call the defense minister to order for deepening the schism and the public rift while publicly undermining the sanctity of Shabbat."
