Minister Katz: If Iran keeps attacking from Syria, we'll teach it a lesson it won't forget
Transportation and intelligence Minister Yisrael Katz said in an interview to Saudi newspaper Elaph, "If Iran keeps threatening and carrying out offensive activities against Israel from Syria, we'll teach it a lesson it will never forget."
Katz, a member of the Political-Security Cabinet, stressed that "Israel isn't interested in an escalation, but it will keep protecting its red lines just like it did yesterday and won't allow an Iranian entrenchment in Syria, a violation of Israeli sovereignty, the transfer of advanced weapons to Hezbollah in Lebanon and the creation of a local ability to produce missiles in Lebanon by Hezbollah."
