Dannon at UN: Abbas is the problem, not solution
In response to PA President Mahmoud Abbas’s speech at the UN, Israeli Ambassador Danny Dannon spoke saying: “Today once again, rather than driving just 12 minutes between Ramallah to Jerusalem, he has chosen to fly 12 hours to New York to avoid the possibility of peace... One thing is clear. When we extend a hand, Abbas extends a fist.
“Mr. Abbas, you have made it clear, with your words and with your actions that you are no longer part of the solution, you are the problem,” Dannon said. "Palestinians need a leader who builds homes, not one who pays terrorists."
Abbas left the chamber immediately after his speech and did not wait for the response.
