Palestinian protesters attacked an American delegation arriving at a research institute in al-Bireh, near Ramallah.
Protesters, railing against the American decision to recognize Jerusalem as Israel's capital, attempted to chase the Americans off and threw eggs at their vehicle convoy, which was evacuated to safety by Palestinian police.
