PM Netanyahu says visiting US now better after Jerusalem recognition
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Tuesday thanked US President Donald Trump, reiterating that his decision to recognize Jerusalem as Israel's capital and move the US embassy there was historic and unprecedented, and that it made him feel even more welcome in Washington.
"As I told President Trump (Monday), it’s especially great to be in America's capital now that he has recognized Jerusalem as Israel’s capital. Thank you Mr. Trump for that historic decision,” he said at the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC).
