Croatia to purchase F-16s from Israel

The Croatian Defense Council has accepted Israel's offer to sell an F-16 squadron to the Croatian army, the Croatian Defense Minister announced Wednesday.

According to the media, Croatia intends to buy twelve used F-16 fighter jets for 403 million euros, a decision that has yet to be officially confirmed by the government.

The F-16s are expected to replace the obsolete MiG-21 of the Croatian Air Force.
