Greenblatt urges Palestinians not to respond to teen's death to avoid escalation
Jason Greenblatt, the American envoy to the Middle East, urged Palestinians not to respond to the death of a 15-year-old teenager during clashes with the IDF on the Gaza border in order to avoid further escalation.
"A full investigation by Israel of Mohammed Ayoub’s death is underway so that we will be able to understand what happened. As we mourn the tragic loss of a young life, we must all resolve to avoid causing more suffering by responses to his death," he wrote on his Twitter.
