According to meteorologist Tzachi Waxman of Meteo Tech, the current rain system is characterized by very hard, localized rainfall, which is the result of unstable weather conditions due to the considerable differences between temperatures on the ground and temperatures in the upper layers of the atmosphere.

He said the rainfall will stop around evening time "and tomorrow it'll be fair."
