Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman said Thursday at the Herzliya Conference that "destroying Iranian infrastructures in Syria isn't an absolute victory."
Lieberman also warned against complacency and smugness, saying: "We are not interested in escalation. We have no interest in conquering Syria. We do not interfere in the civil war. We hope that one day they will stop talking about the destruction of Israel," he added.
"Iran tried to hurt Israel, yet no missile landed in Israel's territory. All of them fell on Syrian territory or were intercepted by the Iron Dome defense system.
"The IDF damaged almost all of Iran's infrastructures in Syria, and they have to remember that if it rains in Israel, it would pour in Syria," he concluded.
