Erdan: 'Farah's medical findings necessitate inquiry'
Public Security Minister Gilad Erdan commented on the court's decision to release all 19 detainees arrested at a Haifa protest Friday and said that the leg of one of them—Mossawa Center Director Jafar Farah—being broken "raised questions."
Erdan then reiterated his call in the Ynet studio interview for a Police Investigations Unit inquiry into the matter.
"Police need to hold an internal review of the decisions made in the field and to examine whether cops were aware of when they can legally make arrests. The medical findings necessitate an inquiry," he added.
