Abbas associate: Abbas's condition is improving, likely to be discharged soon

An associate of the Palestinian Authority's President Mahmoud Abbas told Ynet on Monday Abbas's condition is improving.

"Abbas is likely to be discharged from the hospital today or tomorrow. He was under a lot of pressure during the past two weeks due to rounds of official visits in Latin America and the flight back home after which he underwent an operation on his ear," the associate added.
